Cheese and wine a great success
Stephen Tester - Vice President of The Rotary Club of Crowborough - helped to organise a very enjoyable wine and cheese social for the organisation on Saturday night. Around 30 Rotary members and their guests enjoyed a wine tasting competition, involving six wines, all purchased in Crowborough.
The money raised from the event will go towards Rotary's many fundraising activities which are both focused on Crowborough and further afield. For instance, the wider Rotary organisation has been particularly focusing on polio with its ‘End Polio Now' campaign.
Following the wine tasting, guests enjoyed a delicious selection of cheeses - again all purchased in Crowborough.
"It was a really great evening and a fantastic opportunity for our members to get together and enjoy some social time," said Stephen.
