A joyful afternoon

Our BGs recently enjoyed an afternoon tea at The Nevill Crest & Gun, thanks to a community grant from Crowborough Town Council. More than 60 BGs attended and, as a surprise, Glenys organised for magician Bertie Pearce, to entertain the group.

Glenys has received a number of 'thank you' cards and emails following the tea, including this one:

"I felt I must write a few lines to thank you so much for the wonderful tea party. Bertie was certainly the icing on the cake! It was such a joyful afternoon and I am sure we all left in high spirits!"
