Tester & Jones Funeral Services is sponsoring a special concert being held by the Langborough Singers on Saturday 15 October at The United Church in Croft Road, Crowborough. It is a Musical Celebration of the Life of Lucy Jarrett, who sadly died last year.
Lucy was brought up in Crowborough and enjoyed music from an early age – encouraged by her musical family. She was a member of TWODS and LAMPS and also, over the years, took part in concerts by the Langborough Singers.
She was also a singer and songwriter in her own right and sang locally here in Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells – at the Forum, Local and Live events over the years and at the Grey Lady - as well as in and around Gloucester where she lived most recently.
The Langborough Singers will be presenting songs from the shows Lucy performed in and will also be joined by Singing For Fun Crowborough.
Tickets cost £12 (which includes a glass of wine or soft drink) and can be purchased from our office in London Road, as well as WE Cro and J&K Gallery (see leaflet for more information) or from Lucy’s Mother, Elisabeth.
All proceeds from the event will be going to Epilepsy Research UK.
