The team at Tester & Jones Funeral Services was absolutely delighted to be recognised as ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Best Customer Service’ category at the recent Sussex Business Awards 2021, which took place at The Grand Hotel in Brighton on Thursday 2 December.
Now in its 32nd year, the event which was attended by the founders of Tester & Jones – Stephen Tester and Glenys Jones – celebrated the best businesses in Sussex, across 14 award categories. The awards were presented by comedian Zoe Lyons.
“I don’t think I’d really appreciated what a prestigious event it was until the night,” says Stephen. “I felt so proud to see our name up on the screen, along with our team photo. While we didn’t win, not every category had a ‘highly commended’ finalist, so it felt great to be recognised in this way.”
He continues: “I am particularly proud that this reflects our excellent customer service in particular, as it’s something our entire team works together to achieve. We know our families appreciate the care and support they receive from us.”
