Last night at Hever

Our Bereavement Group (the BGs) dodged the rain showers on Sunday 30 August to enjoy a spectacular 'Last Night of the Hever Proms' at the Two Sisters' Theatre at Hever Castle. This was the 25th anniversary of this rousing event at Hever.

Glenys was there with 36 BGs members and says that the orchestra and conductor were very 'entertaining' and the Mezzo Soprano was 'delightful'. She added: "It really was wonderful and I think everyone was overwhelmed with the whole event."

The evening included some familiar classics and ended in traditional style with Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Pomp & Circumstance March No 1.
