Forty-six members of our Bereavement Support Group travelled to London on a beautiful September day to enjoy a performance of Tina - The Tina Turner Musical. Currently at The Aldwych Theatre, those attending said it was a 'fab show' and they'd had a 'great time'.
Tina is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Tina Turner and depicting her life from her youth in Nutbush, Tennessee, through her tumultuous relationship with Ike Turner, and comeback as a rock 'n roll star in her 40s.
Trips to The King & I in London and Hello Dolly with Tunbridge Wells Operatic & Dramatic Society (TWODS) at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells have been arranged over the next few months.
