Stephen and Glenys, who are both members of the newly-formed Rotary Club in Crowborough, recently enjoyed volunteering at the new Crowborough Community Café in the town, organised by Wealden Dementia Action Alliance. Launched on Thursday 30 September, from 2pm to 4pm, it took place at the Oasis Centre on Beacon Road.
The sessions are free to attend and include entertainment and activities, as well as refreshments. At the first session, attendees were entertained by Suzanne from Dementia Support East Sussex, who got everyone singing and quite a few folk up to dance.
