The technology offered by our local crematoriums, such as large screens, has meant that families have been able to adapt their services in these difficult times.
One family we supported recently has close relatives who live overseas and, to make them feel part of the service, it was arranged that they would record themselves reading a poem and a tribute, and these were included as part of the service.
Some of our families are missing the opportunity to be able to include live music within the service. Again, we have supported families recently who have included a recording of a friend or musician singing or playing music. It’s not quite the same as having live music, but with the large screens, it does add another element to the service.
I like the valuable information you provide in your articles.
