One area which sets us apart from other funeral directors is the continued support we give families after a funeral has taken place. Just over 10 years ago, we launched our Bereavement Group (BG). It has now grown to more than 100 people and the group has evolved so that existing members are welcoming and supportive to newer members.
At last, it looks like we are finally able to move forward to our ‘new normal’ with the recommencement of our BG meetings.
The past 12 months has been such an extremely stressful time for our families coping with bereavement, with many not even able to be present when their loved one’s passed away. This has left people feeling isolated and very alone.
We are very pleased to announce that we will be initially opening up our small group meetings at St John’s Church Hall during May. Our main group is hoping to resume at All Saints Church Hall during July. More details will follow in a newsletter to be sent out to our BG members, but you can contact our office for further information.
